Samui Latin Party Weekend 27 FEB – 02 MAR 2014

Hello Everyone,

A brand new concept and very exciting weekend is about to happen on Koh Samui.

For the first time Salsa Samui is bringing you a Latin Weekend Party with a Dynamic Team of Instructors, Dancers and DJ.
We have special dancers from Pattaya joining us as well so let’s give them a warm Samui welcome!

We have an awesome program in place for you including Parties with our One & Only World DJ Henry Knowles from New York (Yes he’s back) and our Master Dance Instructor JR Gotengco from The Philippines. Following on the major success of our last Party with DJ Henry, we bring to you now a full weekend of entertainment and Fun Parties with a smooth and relaxed vibe where you actually have FUN socializing, dancing and grooving to Sensual Latin Beats mixed with House, Soul and Pop.

We will also feature dance performances, and Zumba Steps guided by professional teachers which you can follow along to the most popular dance rhythms.If you’re not yet a dancer, you may very well decide to become one as you become engulfed by the Latin Passion. In any case it will be a weekend to remember!

Thursday 27 Feb : HOT LATIN SOUL NIGHT (Latin Meets Soul) Featuring DJ Henry Knowles, Salsa Performance by JR Gotengco, First Time Zumba Performance, and Bachata Workshop.

Friday 28 Feb : Masterclass Salsa New York Style by : JR Gotengco, assisted by Leeta.
Improve your footwork, timing and styling in Salsa.

Masterclass Afterparty / LOCATION: Roman Restaurant, with DJ Henry / Time: 21.00

Saturday 01 Mar : Masterclass Bachata Moderna + Dominican Style by : JR Gotengco
Learn timing, and advanced bachata moves / partnerwork.

Hi Everyone, We will have a Special Rueda and Body Movement Workshop with Fahad Sacramento Beat on Sunday and after we will continue with a fun filled party featuring awesome salsa mixes created by our one and only DJ Henry and of course Bachata, Merengue and Zumba linedance and routines with Yours Truly, in nice air-conditioned space.

For any swim lovers, there’s is also a nice pool to cool off in or take a dip and Samui Lounge offers a great international dinner menu as well.

Entry Fee for the Party and Workshop is 350 thb and includes one Cocktail/Beer or 2 softdrinks. Workshop starts at 17.30. Entry Fee for party only is 250 thb including drink(s).

Join us for a farewell salsa pool party to Peter and Fei, our awesome guest instructors visiting from China.
They brought some awesome dance workshops and super fun dancing styles.

We are delighted to welcome our special guest dance instructor Uwe Peter to Koh Samui.

Originally from Europe, He currently lives and instructs in Beijing and has been a salsa instructor for over 15 years.
He will be spending his holiday on our vibrant island, and meanwhile sharing his knowledge and skills in Salsa Dancing with us.

He has graciously made some time in his holiday schedule available for us and will be teaching us more on salsa partner work techniques, rueda casino and maybe even some nice bachata patterns.
